Illustration Friday-Might

This is my entry for Illustration Friday's "might". He might make it, he might not. Or, it takes a lot of might to do that? An idea I've been thinking about for a while. Drew the shapes in Freehand, and colored and textured in Photoshop. I might try another variation, but it's gonna be a busy week. So this is the best I can do for now!

I'd love your feedback.

Kind regards for the many comments I've received on previous entries.

Great view and really like concept...what do you think about some layering of the 'fear gators' with overlapping...you know, some large scale ones up front and overlapping with a wavelike effect to pull the viewer in and create a sense of depth...

Inching his way high above the madding crowds, which in this case are blood thirsty alligators. Who will have lunch today. Eyecatching design, [I think I would have written FALL on the gators, but it's not my illo], anyway, excellent piece!

Your conecpt is right on. Isn't ironic that might balances with fear? It is a mighty emotion. You've shown, both fear can be mighty and might can win over fear. Great ideal.

Wonderful stuff since the last time I visited... those fear-mongering gators are hoping the guy's line isn't strung too tight. Great colors.

Really like the Thanksgiving background... cool effects.

The 'clear' illustration reminds me of the pigeons I'd like to knock silly and relocate. Maybe if I clean the French doors, they'd knock themselves out.

Great stuff!

This reminds me of a portion of the "Who Wants to be a Superhero" reality series on the Sci-Fi channel.

The "Superheroes" were blindfolded and had to walk on what they thought was a wooden plank between two buildings.

When each one finished their task and the blindfold was removed they discovered they had simply walked on a wooden plank ON the roof.

The psychology of fear can cause us NOT to do many things that would be otherwise entirely possible.

Thanks for the thought-provoking illustration.
