Just in time for the holiday baking season...the "Cookie Baker 9000".

This is my entry for Illustration Friday's "invention" topic. Created specifically for this challenge, on Monday.

Drew this in Freehand, colored it in Photoshop. I might try another version that is more painterly.

Illustration Friday-Thanksgiving

This is my entry for Illustration Friday's "Thanksgiving" topic. Done today, Friday, specifically for the challenge.

I decided on a style that I wanted to try. Thought of a simple composition, then I photographed my hands holding up a platter for reference. I then drew all the lines in Freehand. Brought the vector art into Photoshop where I added color. I painted a background and scanned that in. I also scanned a couple other organic textures and blended those in.

Created this week, specificaly for this challenge. Though I did reuse the bottle from and earlier challenge.

Drew all the shapes in Freehand, brought into Photoshop to color and shade.

This is the infamous "smoking gun". Drew the gun in Freehand with lots of detail. The top version is after a slight bit of Photoshop work. Created this specifically for the IF challenge.

These scans have a Photoshop filter applied, cause I don't like the "photo-graphy" quality when these are scanned, but the finished pieces are actual non-digital artwork. 8 x 10 inches.
